You may have noticed the new banner in the sidebar, for Obsidian Stock. What's Obsidian Stock? It's Simone's newish stock photography venture, and she's putting out a call for Central Oregon photographers.

Simone does good work, and I think she's going to do really well with this venture. So click over and check things out.

Plus, now she owes me a beer. :)

Whoa, that's really awesome! Good on ya, Simone!

Let's see here... CSS dropdown menus, tableless design, a semantic HTML structure similar to the template format I developed for a particular web shop... I'll bet Lance is behind this one!

Dane writes:

Oh.

He's also the CTO. If I actually *looked* at the website instead of the code I would have known that.

/me is such a nerd.

Simone writes:

LOL - nicely guessed, Dane. Your site doesn't look too bad either these days ... :-)

Simone writes:

Oh, and yes - beer is the currency which which I will reward your every effort on Obsidian Stock's behalf, Jon ... ;-)

Dane - my guru and favorite person to copy, copy, copy....

I learned it all from you big guy!!!

Since I don't drink, do I get a pepsi, simone? ;-)

Dane writes:

Ahh shucks, thanks you guys!

There's a good chance I'll move back to Bend this fall, and if that happens there will be beer and Pepsi all around!

Jon writes:

Uh oh... did I reveal too much about the beer thing? I suddenly see Simone awash in drink requests... :-)

Jake writes:

Dane, you get your ass back here -- I've left you on bendblogs as an honorary Bendite, but you have to actually come back and visit now and again to keep it there ;-)

Mrs. H writes:

I don't need anything. Simone and Lance just moved all my crap.

Simone writes:

Yeah! Dane is moving back to Bend! Drinks all around! :-)

PS: Didn't I tell ya you'd be back, Dane? Huh? Huh? ;-)

LJ writes:

You guys are actually making me jealous of the Bend geek life :-)

Dane writes:

Yeehaw!

Yeah, I think ORblogs got suspicious when I relocated my meta ICBM to the artic tundras of northern Minnesota. They kept me around for quite a long time, actually, but eventually I got booted. Thanks for keeping the faith, you guys!

I'm gunnin' for September/October for my move back. I start guiding again in early June, and that runs until the end of August. A few weeks to get things in order and BLAMMO! I fire up the Subaru and hit the open road.

Hey, if you're a no-show around November we'll send out the search parties. My money is on you being kidnapped by and made love slave to an amorous lady bigfoot...
