Going to Portland to see Bon Jovi

On Sunday we’ll be heading up to Portland to see Bon Jovi in concert at the Rose Garden. Yes, we’ve done this before (warning: I sound like a drooling fanboy in that post).

Anyway, we’re casting about for something to do Sunday after we get to Portland… we’ll be seeing some friends, probably, and of course my wife would love to do some shopping. Myself, I don’t really have any real plan; I like going to Powells and I wouldn’t mind hitting a brewpub or two, but I’m pretty open.

Would any Portland bloggers want to meet up? I’m not promising anything, but you never know. ;)

For that matter, any bloggers/readers going to see Bon Jovi too?

  5. That’s frickin’ sweet! I’ve always thought Bon Jovi kicked ass (and I’m 27, Mrs. H, so watch it :-P).

I used to know all the lyrics for every song that was on the album that had Bad Medicine on it (don’t remember which one that was, but I still have it on Vinyl at my parents house, I think).

  6. I’m not saying they don’t kick ass or anything. I saw them in the 7th grade and I’m 31 now.

  7. That concert rocked!! Love me the Bon Jovi. I was there and took some pictures which I’ve posted on my site. Mmmmm Mmmmm Mmmmm.

  8. The concert was awesome!! I saw them in 87 for the Slippery When Wet tour, don’t remember much about it was pretty drunk by the time we got to the show. For the Portland show we did it up right, had a room at the 5th Ave Suites for the whole weekend, we partied like Rock Stars all weekend long, then caught Max to the garden, still trying to recover from the weekend, but was well worth it. Richie Sambora ROCKS!! I’m 37 and still going strong!
